This year’s theme is “After the Crash – Every Road Victim Counts”
This week Greentown are committed to promoting Road Safety Awareness amongst our employees. Throughout Road Safety Awareness Week, we will be conducting various activities and circulating information which will help educate our employees on the dangers of road risk behaviours including:
– Speed
– Risky Overtaking
– Driving under the influence
– Driving whilst distracted (mobile phones)
– Driving whilst tired
– Not wearing seat belts
– Demonstration of daily inspection of vehicles and getting winter ready
Our vehicles and plant are on our roads daily, as well as over 150 employees commuting to and from work each week. Road Safety isn’t just a week-long campaign for Greentown, it is a year-round mission to ensure everyone is safe on the road and they get home safely.
